Sin embargo, el acompa\u00f1amiento es una actividad basada en el individuo en cuesti\u00f3n, actividad que muchas autoridades locales ( a\u00fan) no saben c\u00f3mo manejar. Gracias a nuestro conocimiento, a la experiencia y la red que hemos construido en Medell\u00edn, podemos hacer algo al respecto. El n\u00famero de ni\u00f1as de la calle en Medell\u00edn ha disminuido considerablemente. En 2003 comenzamos a trabajar en la calle, con lo cual logramos que tanto los ni\u00f1os como las ni\u00f1as ingresaran en el centro de recepci\u00f3n municipal para ni\u00f1os de la calle.
